July 27 - Grass and Sky

While out on a breezy summer's day I came across this vibrant green patch of tall decorative grass. It looked fantastic against the bright blue slightly cloudy sky.

July 16 - Tomato Progress

We have 4 kinds of heirloom tomatoes growing in our garden this year that we started from seeds. They are making some great progres snow that the weather is getting warm. The cages we got for them were pretty colorful so I thought they made for a great opportunity for a photo.

We have this cute little topiary heart in the house. I love the tight pattern of the leaves and thought it would make for an interesting shot.

June 2 - Farmer's Market

This lovely dusting of pollen on my car was one afternoon's worth, the day after a good rainstorm. This is why my spring has been less than enjoyable.

Apr 30 - Grow Light

My wife and I have our tomato starts in the garage under a grow light. I had a shot of them a few weeks back when they just popped up, this time I wanted to capture all the great leaves and stalks with the harsh lighting behind them. I shot up and under to give a different perspective.

Apr 28 - Fern Frond

Today I went out into my very moist backyard and snapped some shots of the ferns sprouting up back by some old stumps. I really liked the partially unfurled fronds and the sense of movement of the branch as a whole.

Apr 25 - New Mouse

Here's a shot of my newest ergo notebook mouse. It folds up to a ridiculously small size and has an amazing scan system that can be used on a glass table top. Plus it looks super cool. I am pretty pleased.
